The City of Wilsonville Parks team recently designed, constructed and opened a one-of-a-kind Nature Play area in Memorial Park. Tommy Reeder and Zack Morse brought diligently planning, innovative vision and a focus on sustainability to this project ensuring the best use of public resources.

The Memorial Park Nature Play area has given the community a place to imagine, explore, create, build, and play in nature. It allows community members of all ages to interact with nature in a creative and meaningful way.

Tommy and Zack are not project engineers or design architects by title or job duties. Rather they are a Lead Park Maintenance Specialist and Park Maintenance Specialist who went beyond their job duties and classifications to bring the community the most value possible in this project.
